Cranberry Crop Figures are in.. The cranberry numbers are in. The U S Dept. of Agriculture releases its annual forecast for cranberry crops. Jeff Lafleur of the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association says this year's numbers for the state are looking good. This year's crop is expected to beat last year's by seven percent. Cranberry crops are typically bi-annual, accounting for the dip in 2009 and this year's predicted uptick. Massachusetts is the second largest producer of cranberries, next to Wisconsin. This year's national cranberry crop is predicted to reach 7.35 million barrels. ...Read More
